Humpback Whales July to November.

Fraser Island, white sands and crystal clear lakes.

Hervey Bay plays host to many other whale species including the Southern Right, Minki, Melonhead, False Killer, Pilot, even Sperm Whales with some of these whales being seen all year round. Besides the Whales, the bay is home to large numbers of Dolphins, Turtles, Dugons and other marine creatures.

The Bay has more than the whales and the ocean. There is First Class Restaurants and shopping. You can spend a day out fishing or on horse back. The Area has a wealth of history with museums and historic sites.

Hervey Bay is home to a large number of water birds and other birds, as well as one million flying foxes or fruit bats call Hervey Bay home.
